Awful Experience We went in today for lunch and it will definitely be the last time ever. So basically we decided to order the two course lunch meal my brother ordered the gammon and we decided to order the soup aswell as we had my 21 month baby so we decided he could eat the soup and my brother will eat what is left as he doesn't eat alot. The manager basically sent the waitress over to say my 21 month son had to order the adult soup because he is a different person to my brother!!!! So she was basically saying that he could not have the soup as a set menu as that is for my brother only! Like what the hell! She then agreed that they could share the soup but it's only coming out as a starter so therefore she was basically saying If my son is sharing the soup he can eat alone! I am not sure if this woman had a bad day or stressful Christmas but this is no way to treat customers. I was having a meal for £14.95 so we were spending over £30 so I am not sure why she is being so funny over some soup. She was trying to force us to buy a children's meal for £8.00 but my son can not eat that for lunch and this menu is up to 12 years. We took my son out the baby chair which upset him. 2 other customers came up to us and said they understood from our point of view and didn't understand why the manager was being funny about some soup. They said we should not be forced to pay for a kids meal or adult soup for a young toddler. In the end the experience was a Godsend as we had the most amazing meal at the Hare and the Hounds and they could not have been more lovely. They gave my son a kids pack and made us feel so welcome! My son got his soup and they were happy to make him a kids size at a reduced price thank god not every pub is just greedy! Happy ending in the end!

Really nice pub, with traditional charm. Only stopped for a drink and chips but the staff were lovely and friendly and the portion of chips was very generous! 🙂

Popped in for a light lunch during the week on two occasions with my wife. The food is well presented, sensibly priced and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and cosy, I would definitely recommend a visit.

Beef not as tender as last time we had it and not enough green veg with each of our 4 meals, all roasts and we only had 3 green beans each! Red cabbage was just boiled and nothing added like spice & dried fruit😔

My daughter wanted to come to celebrate her 10th birthday here and we were not disappointed, food was delicious, the lady’s working tonight (22nd Nov 2023) were polite, attentive and couldn’t have done enough for us.. we had a small room in the pub which was laid out lovely with the perfect little touches balloons and a banner

Me and my wife visit The Four Points as often as we can. We usually go with friends or family. We always get a warm welcome and the atmosphere, service and quality of food is always first class. And we say this at the time. Whatever is chosen from the varied menu is so GOOD. To highlight a meal, today, on a visit with my wife, I had Tempura Prawns, followed by Sea Bass and finishing with Sticky Ginger Pudding. All were SUPERB. We are back with family next week and we are very much looking forward to then and further visits.

The Four Points was recommended by a friend. What a great recommendation. Went there to celebrate after our daughter's GCSE results. The food was really good, but eyes bigger than belly. The size of the jam sponge and custard was massive. Really good service from all the staff. Will happily go again. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options which was good to see

Very nice pub. Cozy atmosphere, lovely and helpful staff. Chicken breast in garlic sauce awesome. Salmon filet gorgeous. One of the best food for reasonable prices. Rare ales and ciders. It’s a real gem in Chiltern Hills. Very popular among locals. Parking just next to the pub. The place really worth to visit. Vegetarian options: A few options Parking: Next to the pub and across the street. Plenty of space Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, helpful staff
